Our Miss DC Performance Took the Crown

We were honored to return as the featured performers at the Miss DC Scholarship Pageant on Saturday, June 27, where we shared the stage with local royalty as they crowned Miss DC 2026 (the preliminary to the Miss America stage!).

Leah, AVA's Founder/Director, choreographed two high energy pieces that we performed at the opening and right before the crowning. Our opening performance also had a special cameo...Miss DC 2025, Katie Wadman!

We're so proud of our 12 dancers who represented AVA on stage at the crowning! They learned their entire set in just two rehearsals and in the words of Beyonce, were "flawless."
