Save These Dates - 2026 AVA Performances & Events Announced

2026 is shaping up to be a HUGE year for AVA Dance Company! Not only will we be celebrating our milestone 10th anniversary this fall, we also have several high caliber performance opportunities lined up for the rest of the year. Grab a pen and mark off these dates in your calendar so you don't miss out on any of the exciting things we have planned!

July 22 (NEW DATE!) - Concept Video Shoot

Our popular Concept Video program puts you in a music video...but instead of a singer, the dancers are the stars! Rehearsals for this opportunity will take place in July. Jackie will be choreographing this project! Learn more here!

September 26 - Washington Spirit Halftime Performance

We're returning to Audi Field to perform during halftime when the Washington Spirit take on the Angel City FC. Rehearsals will take place in September. Stay tuned for more info to drop later this summer!

October - AVA's 10th Anniversary Celebration

AVA Dance Company is turning 10! To celebrate a decade of dancing in the DMV, we're hosting a special birthday party this October that will bring together the members of our community. This event will take place outside of the dance studio - stay tuned for more info this summer!

November 1 - Washington Commanders' Pre-Game Performance

For the 5th year in a row, we're thrilled to perform at Northwest Stadium - home of the Washington Commanders! This performance will mark our Sunday Night Football debut as the Commanders take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Rehearsals will take place in October. Stay tuned for more information later this summer/early fall!

TBA - Washington Wizards' Halftime Performance

Our halftime performances at Washington Wizards' games aren't just dance routines...they're productions! Nearly 50 dancers join us on the court in two styles for this experience and we can't wait to return for the 2026-2027 season.

We're also looking forward to two previously announced performances this summer: the Miss DC Scholarship Pageant on June 27 and DC's National Independence Day Parade on July 4! Registration has concluded for Miss DC and the Independence Day Parade.

Registration for the Concept Video, Washington Spirit Halftime, Washington Commanders' Pre-Game and Washington Wizards Halftime will all be first come, first served. We often experience high demand for these opportunities. Once a registration date is announced for those events, it's suggested that interested dancers be ready to fill out the form as soon as it opens! The forms will close once they have hit their maximum capacities + waitlist. This can occur quickly, as fast as 2 minutes post the form opening!
