For the third consecutive year, we've been invited to perform in Washington DC's Independence Day Parade! This year will be extra special as we celebrate America's 250th birthday!
Independence Day has turned into IndepenDANCE Day! AVA Dance Company will be performing a Pom routine in the Nation's Capital on the 4th of July and we are looking for dancers to join us for this performance! In addition to the routine, dancers will also perform "sidelines" down the parade route. The piece will be choreographed by Louis Caponi, NFL dancer and beloved AVA instructor!
What We’re Looking For:
Dancers with an intermediate level of skills and choreography retention in the Pom style
Confidence performing for large crowds in an outside environment
Attendance during our 3 rehearsals
The Details:
Performance Date: Saturday, July 4
Location: The parade is a mile long route down Independence Ave in Washington DC! It begins at 3rd and Constitution Ave and concludes at 12th and Independence Ave. Our performance will take place in front of the grand stand.

Unlike other performance opportunities we provide, registration for this event will not be granted on a first come, first served basis.
