Pro Dance Intensive Coming March 15

SAVE THE DATE Our Intensive is back...but with a pro style twist! On March 15, we'll be hosting a Pro Style Intensive at Gold's Gym - Ballston. The event will be held in the large studio from 1P-6P.
Similar to past intensives, expect high caliber masterclasses and the opportunity to connect with fellow dancers over the course of an afternoon.
Registration will open on February 20 at 8AM via avadanceco.com and our Spaces mobile booking app!
Full day registration is $185 and single masterclass registration is $75. All masterclasses include an exclusive Q&A with our pro level instructors following the class. Full day registrants are also eligible to participate in our several raffles!

Instructors
Our all-star lineup of instructors consists of Christie Horan, Victoria Kalina and Kristen Greto! Together, these dancers have 7 years of NFL experience and 12 years of NBA experience. Each will be teaching a 75 minute masterclass and then host a 15 minute Q&A.
About Christie Horan - Hip Hop
Christie Horan is a dance coach and choreographer based in Washington, DC. She specializes in hip hop, jazz, and pom—what she calls the Pro-Dance Style. Christie recently completed her third year as Head Coach and fourth overall season coaching the NFL Washington Commanders’ Command Force.
Before coaching, Christie spent six seasons as an NBA Dancer for the Washington Wizards (2014–2020), serving as a Captain and Co-Captain for three years. Prior to dancing professionally, Christie graduated from the University of Kentucky, where she earned a business degree and danced on the Kentucky Dance Team for four years, competing at UDA College Nationals from 2011–2014 and leading the team as Captain her senior year.
Beyond coaching, Christie is a fitness entrepreneur, community builder, and marketing coordinator for a DC-based nonprofit. Her mission is to inspire women to feel strong, confident, and empowered every day through movement.
About Victoria Kalina - Pom
Victoria is a former fourth year veteran of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) and a four year member of the DCC traveling show group.
She was featured on Netflix’s “America’s Sweethearts,” a documentary about the DCC as well as CMT's "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team". While she was a DCC, she attended the Joffrey Ballet School in Texas.
Victoria recently moved to New York City to continue dance training! She started her own company, Victoria Kalina Dance, and teaches privates, dance classes and masterclasses.
About Kristen Greto - Street Jazz (Heels Optional)
Kristen Greto is a professional dancer and coach with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Her performance credits include the NBC Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Rachael Ray Show, Netflix, and features in DanceSpirit Magazine. She has performed on some of New York City’s most iconic stages, including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theatre, and Lincoln Center.
Kristen continued her professional training and competitive career as a member of the Division I St. John’s University Dance Team. She went on to dance professionally with the NBA G League’s Westchester Knicks for three seasons, followed by six seasons with the NBA Brooklynettes, where she served as a team captain during her tenure. While with the Brooklyn Nets organization, Kristen performed internationally in China and Mexico and shared the stage with artists such as Lil’ Kim and Busta Rhymes.
Kristen is currently in her third season as Head Coach of the inaugural NBA G League Long Island Nets Dance Team, affiliated with the Brooklyn Nets—a full-circle role in which she leads, mentors, and choreographs for the team.
