AVA Anniversary Theme Week

This October will mark 10 years of AVA Dance Company and that deserves a celebration!

Join us from Oct. 2-12 for 10 days of AVA themed classes and content...introducing AVA Theme Week!

Get ready for special classes, throwback moments, big energy, iconic music, community, and ALL the outfits as we celebrate a decade of dancing together. ✨

Here's what you can expect:

Oct. 3 | Merch Giveaway - we’ll be giving away a piece from our anniversary merch drop on Instagram. Don't miss your chance to win this unique item before you can buy it!

Oct. 4 | Country Themed Class - Join former NBA dancer Brittany for a country themed Hip Hop combo! This class will be held at 2P. Dancers are encouraged to wear cowgirl hats, boots, and denim to class! efore you can buy it!

Oct. 5 | Past Performances Classes - We're revisiting two performances from AVA's past! Olivia will re-teach a section from her 2023 Showcase Contemporary piece, "Rise Up," at 7:30 PM. At 8:30 PM, Toya will re-teach a section from her Hip Hop Concept Video, "AVA's Warehouse: The Jump Off." Dancers are encouraged to wear one of your past performance costumes to class. This can be an AVA costume or something from the archives!

Oct. 6 | Throwback Class - Let’s go back to 2016! At 7:30P, Leah will re-teach the first combo that was EVER taught at AVA...a Hip Hop combo to "Wiggle" by Jason Derulo! Wear flannels around your waist, chokers, and graphic tanks. And of course we'll be filming boomerangs!

Oct. 7 | Anniversary Gala at The Renegade - Get glammed up for our first ever gala! Celebrate with us at The Renegade in Arlington, VA. Ticket sales end on Oct. 1! Learn more + get tickets here!

Oct. 8 | Dance Besties - AVA has created so many incredible friendships! Join our Instagram takeover by sharing a photo/video of you and your dance bestie.

Oct. 9 | First AVA Class - We all remember our first class! Join our Instagram takeover by reminiscing on the first time you joined us in the studio!

Oct. 10 | Favorite AVA Memory - Join our Instagram takeover by sharing your favorite AVA memory...whether that be a class, performance or community event!

Oct. 11 | Community Class - Ashleigh is teaching Hip Hop 101 at 2P and you can bring a friend for 50% off using code BESTIE at checkout! Dancing is always more fun with friends! 

Oct. 12 | AVA-CHELLA - Feel like you’re a back-up dancer on-stage at Coachella with Street Jazz with Joey at 7:30P and Hip Hop with Avonie at 8:30P! Festival attire is encouraged...denim, fringe and all!
