Our Solo Series returns this May/June with your opportunity to record a professionally shot solo dance video!
Sunday, May 31st & Monday, June 1: Contemporary with Rachel
Sunday, June 7 & Monday, June 8: Pom with Monica
Sunday, June 13 & Monday, June 14: Hip Hop with Ashleigh
So, how does it work?! Dancers will learn a combo from one of our professional instructors and then instead of recording in groups like you would in class, you'll perform it as a solo with RTZ Productions. RTZ is a familiar face with AVA as he's shot our Performance Showcase, last 3 Concept Videos & our previous Solo Series!
New for 2026, this series will now be hosted as a new 2-day format!
Day 1 (Sundays from 3P-4P) - Learn the combo and take it home to rehearse and feel confident in
Day 2 (Mondays from 8:30P-9:30P) - Dancers will return to the studio, this time camera-ready! Each dancer will perform the choreography directly to our professional videographer as a solo and receive the video for their own, personal use!
Dancers will recieve their videos via email within 7-10 days of the shoot.
All classes are held at Gold's Gym - Ballston. Registration opens Friday, May 1 at 8AM via avadanceco.com and our Spaces mobile booking app and is $65 per series. Registration includes both days of the style. Space is limited!

Her goal is to challenge you to unlock a deeper version of yourself, while spreading positive energies and having fun in the process. Ashleigh’s music tends to lean towards high-energy, so you know every class will be a party!
When you take class with Ashleigh, expect nothing less than an energetic, hard-hitting combination that will move you past your comfort zone and leave you feeling victorious! Her class is MUCH more than eight counts and choreography, to her, it is about spirituality! She will push you to find strength in vulnerability, encourage you to tap into a deeper threshold of power and help you pull the fighter out from within. Ashleigh's love for dance started over 20 years ago and she hopes that her love radiates through her choreography and teaching style. Come join us in her upcoming class, as we celebrate our love for dance and the fabulous souls of the AVA community!
