This year, our annual Performance Showcase is breaking records with our largest cast ever—90 dancers across five incredible series! To celebrate this milestone, we’re taking you behind the scenes like never before with our new video series, Countdown to Curtain Call. Produced and hosted by two of our very own community members (and the hosts of the show), this series offers an exclusive look into the time and dedication that our dancers spend into rehearsing for the big show.

What to expect each week:

• Backstage Access: See into rehearsals for all five series as they learn their large group routines

• Interviews: Hear from the instructors and dancers about their backgrounds, expectations and experience so far

Meet the Team:

Chelsea and Danny are the creative team behind Countdown to Curtain Call, as well as the hosts for our 2026 Performance Showcase!

Chelsea and Danny are no strangers to AVA! Both initially joined our community through our weekly drop-in classes and then became more involved by participating in several of our performance opportunities. Combined, they've been part of 3 Showcases, 3 NFL routines, 3 NBA games , 2 Concept Videos & 1 Cherry Blossom parade performance. But it didn't stop there! In 2025, they adopted the roles of hosts for our Performance Showcase and they're back for round 2 in 2026.
