Concept Videos

Are you ready for your close up? Our Concept Video Series will have you perform as a group for a professional videographer! In addition to choreography, get ready for formations, tight shots, freestyle and MORE to perform straight to the camera!

Over the course of three to four weeks, you’ll dive into rehearsals, mastering choreography, dynamic formations, and seamless transitions under the guidance of one of our professional instructors—a familiar face you know and love from our monthly drop-in classes.

Depending on the theme of the video, you could learn any style of dance during this 3-4 week program! The style for a video will be announced prior to registration.

The final shoot will happen outside of the studio at a unique location. In the past, we've shot at Blagden Alley in Washington DC, Baltimore's Inner Harbor & Graffiti Alley, warehouses, clubs, parks and black box theaters. Once you're on set, you truly feel like you're transforming into the main character of the video!

To complete the experience, each project features a unique aesthetic, allowing you to dress the part—whether it’s the Western style of the "Urban Cowgirl," the bold red and black of "The Heartbreakers," or the edgy neutrals of an "Urban Warehouse." It’s your chance to experience the magic of a music video shoot while celebrating the talent and spirit of our incredible dance community

We work with talented videographers / editors in the Washington DC landscape to create these projects.

This experience turns our community dancers into the stars of their own cinematic production! Stay tuned to our Instagram & website to find out how you can be part of our next Concept Video!
