Contemporary with Aminah Sunday 9/22 2:00-3 :00pm Dance Academy of Virginia - Del Ray $22 to register Location: Dance Academy of Virginia - Del Ray 2402 Mt Vernon Ave Alexandria, VA 22301 Free street parking About Aminah Aminah's foundational dance education consists of training from Jones- Haywood Dance School, CityDance Conservatory, and SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance. While at these institutions Aminah has strengthened their knowledge, execution, and experience in Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary/Ballet/Improvisational Partnering, Improvisation, Contemporary and Contemporary Ballet, Jazz, West African, Modern (Graham, Horton, Dunham, Limon, and Swing/Release Technique). Aminah has received scholarships to perform/ train with Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre, Koresh Dance Company, GALLIM, Philidanco, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Brucewood Dance, and Netherlands Dans Theatre. Currently, Aminah is teaching, private coaching, and choreographing all over the DMV. All whilst, being a freelance dancer with Priore Dance, Momentum Dance Theatre, and Black Dance Collective DC.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy for regularly priced classes ($22)    *This policy has been updated for classes beginning 7/1/21 - Due to class demand and limited capacity, no class credits will be issued for classes that are cancelled within 12 hours before class start time. - To request a class credit, please cancel your booking on the AVA Wix App within 12 hours of class time AND email avadancecompany@gmail.com to request a class credit. - If you cancel your booking and email 12 hours before class time, we will put a class credit on your account to be used within 2 months.  - We will not be able to accommodate any exceptions or cash refunds. Thank you for your understanding!
